The Senior Analyst will work alongside our property reinsurance underwriters as an integral part of the underwriting process. Responsible for analysis and underwriting recommendations of assumed risks, systems and model development, product support and portfolio analytics. Responsibilities include technical analysis and risk modelling, supporting evaluation and deployment of catastrophe models, and supporting enhancements of internal risk and underwriting systems.
Requirements
Excellent mathematical, statistical and problem-solving skills; 2+ years of work experience preferred with experience at a re/insurer, reinsurance broker or financial services company a plus; A university degree with an emphasis on science, engineering, economics, mathematical and statistical techniques or similar; Advanced knowledge of Excel, SQL and / or Catastrophe vendor models a plus.
