We are seeking an ENT Physician/Surgeon to improve access to ENT care for all Bermuda's residents, and in keeping with the Island Health Services Quality Promise. This role provides specialist medical and surgical care for patients with conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. The role includes outpatient assessment, diagnostic evaluation, procedural and operative management, emergency consultation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, timely, patient-centred care. The physician is responsible for care delivery to a diverse patient population and providing recommendations to the Clinical Leads and Group Chief Medical Officer to improve clinical services as part of the commitment to continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

MD, MBBS/BMBS or equivalent. Specialist training in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. At least 5 years' clinical experience. Registered with or eligible for registration with Bermuda Medical Council. Demonstrated competence in general ENT assessment, operative care, perioperative decision-making, and management of urgent ENT presentations. Strong communication, teamwork, clinical judgment, professionalism, and commitment to patient safety. Fellowship training or focused expertise in a subspecialty area such as otology, rhinology, laryngology, pediatric ENT, sleep surgery, or head and neck surgery is an asset. Proficient with use of IMS and/or a similar electronic medical record. Proficient with ICD 10 or equivalent clinical coding of consultations and interventions.
