This position reports to the Assistant Vice President, Credit Recoveries, Credit Risk Management, and is responsible for minimising credit loss and managing debt recovery from delinquent accounts.
Requirements
BSSC with two years relevant experience and/or equivalent. Proven track record and experience of working as a successful collector. Strong knowledge and understanding of credit products/services, supporting processes and systems would be an asset. Self-motivated, reliable, flexible and personable with the ability to effectively multi-task and respond to a variety of inquiries within a deadline driven, diverse environment. Excellent communication skills including appropriate vocal style and listening abilities used in the collections process. Excellent negotiation, influencing, organization, team, interpersonal, problem-solving, and client service skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications, in particular MS Word and Excel. Ability to prioritize and multi-task, working under pressure, taking appropriate action and maintain sound investment judgment and recommendations while ensuring high quality of output at all times.
