The Head of Financial Transformation, Reporting, Planning & Analysis will play a critical leadership role in delivering high quality financial reporting, capital analysis, and forward looking planning for a Bermuda based asset intensive life and annuity reinsurance platform. This role is responsible for management, regulatory, investor, and lender reporting across multiple accounting bases, while supporting and driving transformation of finance processes, systems, and controls. Key responsibilities include leading quarterly and annual reporting (GAAP, SFS, EBS), driving financial planning and forecasting (FP&A), supporting accounting policy leadership, and leading finance transformation initiatives like SaaS implementations and automation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics; or related field. MBA, CPA, CFA or actuarial designation preferred. 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance or related roles within insurance/ reinsurance. Strong knowledge of reinsurance financial drivers, including underwriting, reserving and investment income. Experience in operating in a Bermuda-regulated or equivalent solvency regime strongly preferred. Proven experience supporting executive and board-level reporting. Strong technical expertise in financial reporting including US GAAP, BMA reporting, and capital frameworks. Proven ability to lead transformation initiatives and build scalable finance processes. Advanced technical skills including Python, SQL. Experience in the practical application of Artificial Intelligence.
