Strategic Risk Solutions (Bermuda) Ltd. ("SRS") is the leading independent insurance management company. We are seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Assistant Vice President. Responsibilities include active participation in a Client Service Team with responsibility for the day-to-day management of captives and commercial reinsurance clients; preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements using IFRS, US GAAP and Bermuda Statutory standards; and preparation of financial and underwriting analytical reports.

Requirements

Must have a recognized professional designation (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA); Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience; Demonstrated knowledge of insurance and investment accounting; Ability to independently research complex insurance, investment, or tax matters; Knowledge of Bermuda regulatory matters; Experience working with external clients and the ability to control and lead client meetings; Knowledge and understanding of various insurance policies; Knowledge of and experience with using SUN would be an asset; Prior experience managing a team and the ability to provide training to various junior staff.
