The Assistant Director of Events Management provides strategic and operational leadership for the planning and delivery of a portfolio of events, locally and overseas, that support the regulator's objectives and stakeholder engagement. This role works with internal and external partners to ensure events are delivered on time, on budget, securely, and in line with public-sector standards. The Assistant Director leads programme delivery end-to-end, develops event staff, and drives continuous improvement across governance, accessibility, supplier management and evaluation.

Requirements

A master's degree or equivalent qualifications in event management, communications, public administration, business, or a related field. A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in events management, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities. Demonstrated experience managing budgets, contracts, and procurement. Experience in delivering in-person, hybrid and virtual events. Strong programme and project management skills. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Proven people leadership skills. High standards of integrity and professionalism. Working knowledge of event production and operations. Ability to travel locally and internationally.
