Reporting to the manager of the investments department, the Investment Portfolio Analyst will assist in analysis of the investment portfolio and data on its underlying investments. This will include assisting with preparation of investment information presented to internal and external stakeholders including cedents, regulators and rating agencies. Core responsibilities include analysis of investment portfolio data utilizing systems like BlackRock Aladdin and Bloomberg, communicating findings to internal boards and external parties, preparing LLSBA submissions, and assisting with portfolio management functions like asset manager oversight and asset/liability management.

Requirements

5 to 7 years of professional experience with an insurance or investment focus. Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or related field. Demonstratable progress towards a CFA designation or comparable professional designation preferred. Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel. Experience with commercial investment management systems (e.g. Bloomberg, BlackRock Aladdin) is an asset.
