Operations Analyst

SIG Re, Ltd., a Bermuda-based Class 3A reinsurance company, is looking for an Operations Analyst to join our growing team as we build out capabilities in specialty reinsurance. In this role, you will work closely with our Director of Reinsurance Underwriting and Business Development, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. You'll play a key role in supporting our operational infrastructure, helping to manage risk, streamlining reporting, and driving business growth. Our lean infrastructure will allow for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial person to have a significant impact. In this role you will: • Maintain and analyze data in internal tracking systems to monitor deal progress • Prepare and review reports for senior executives and the Board of Directors with respect to company performance • Maintain relationships with insurance managers, vendors, and brokers to ensure smooth operational workflows Assist with regulatory reporting and loss reserving analysis • Support accounting operations • Contribute to the preparation of dashboards, scorecards, and risk reports for senior stakeholders • Assist with the development of reconciliation tools that streamline data comparison and reporting • Design and document end-to-end business processes and workflows • Assist underwriting workflow through preparation of analytics files and documentation of pricing What we're looking for: • 1-3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in accounting, insurance, or financial services • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Demonstrated interest in math, technology, and the financial industry Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; VBA or other programming experience is a plus • Strong verbal and written communication skills To apply please send your résumé to bdajobs@expertisegroup.com.
