The incumbent partners with the CIO to drive technology vision and strategy, overseeing IT governance, budgets, and project management while managing vendor relationships and leading continuous improvement initiatives to align with business goals. This position provides leadership and guidance in critical areas of technology administration at the Bank, including strategic planning and execution, acquisition integration, oversight of both project and vendor management offices, budgeting and overall performance management.

Requirements

This position requires a highly motivated self-starter who is able to provide strategic thought leadership and lead projects with limited guidance. The individual must be composed, organised, culturally aware and a strong communicator who can effectively multitask and prioritise as needs evolve. Additional qualifications include a University degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience; Minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT and business/industry, especially in a consulting or advisory service role; 10 years’ experience in a leadership role, including proven experience building and leading teams with direct people management responsibility; broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies; experience with technology vendor management; experience integrating banking and trust acquisitions; solid analytical and financial acumen; excellent communication skills; outstanding interpersonal skills; proven ability to improve operational efficiency; and a willingness to travel.
