We are seeking an intelligent, hardworking software developer with a creative mind to join our investment technology team based in Bermuda. The successful candidate will be part of the team responsible for developing and maintaining our proprietary Trading Systems and integrating in-house systems with 3rd party financial service provider products. The successful candidate will need to be confident in designing and implementing robust and scalable software architectures. About you: The successful candidate must have: Possession of an excellent academic record and, at a minimum, a Bachelor's Degree from a reputable university in a Computer Science or Engineering related discipline. A minimum of five years of software development experience. Outgoing and cooperative personality, with excellent communication skills. Passion about software architecture, systems development, and technology in general. Excellent programmer in one or more of these languages: C#, Java, VB.Net, C++. Demonstrable proficiency with Relational Database Systems. Demonstrable proficiency with developing front-end applications in one of the following: WPF, Angular, HTML5. Demonstrable proficiency with Cloud technologies and Infrastructure as Code.. Demonstrable proficiency with the following technologies is highly preferred: messaging and event processing, multi-threaded client/server applications, distributed databases. Software development experience in the financial sector is beneficial.
