We are seeking an intelligent, highly motivated individual to join our investment technology team based in Bermuda. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with agile delivery management skills. This unique role combines hands-on technology support for Traders, supporting and maintaining Orbis' proprietary trading platform, together with responsibility for driving delivery across various teams within Orbis' Investment Technology function. About you: The successful candidate must have: An excellent academic record and, at a minimum, a Bachelor's Degree from a reputable university in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field. A minimum of five years of professional software development experience. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent, demonstrating strong knowledge of agile methodologies; experience with SAFe or other scaling frameworks is an advantage. Demonstrably strong coding skills in C# or Java, with experience in WPF, web technologies (e.g., Angular or React, HTML5) and relational databases. Demonstrable proficiency in agile tools, such as Jira, TeamRetro, Planning Poker or similar. Proven experience supporting and delivering mission-critical systems. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to coach and mentor others. Understanding of financial services, asset management and trading workflows is an advantage.
