FIL Limited is the head office of Fidelity International, which is one of the world's leading investment managers and operates across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and South America. About your Role • Oversee monthly close process and review quarterly and annual reporting within deliverable timetables, for both US GAAP ledgers for individual entities and consolidated FIL Limited corporate Net Asset Valuation, including assisting with day to day accounting as needed Preparation of FIL's Consolidated Balance Sheet and Earnings (Management perspective) for FIL NAV and other ad-hoc reporting requests Oversee FIL's own shareholder accounting processes from a Finance perspective Oversee production of annual internal and external audit deliverables and reporting • Reconciliation of balances, transactions and results reported by other business segments and between US GAAP and Management reporting Investment accounting, reporting and analysis for US GAAP and NAV for a joint venture Prepare management and board reports - recurring and ad-hoc analysis as required, focusing on key insights in a concise manner to support senior stakeholder decision making • Review and interpret legal agreements and business changes impacting Finance; implement as applicable • Development and maintenance of controls, systems and processes to ensure quality, efficient, accurate and timely accounting and management reporting and integrity of data and results • Design and implement process and system improvements to ensure continuous improvement and innovation, including technology and Al solutions and SOX framework plus other group activities or projects as required About You • A CPA(CA), CA or ACA with at least 8 years post-qualification experience, including significant audit experience, preference to fund management industry experience • Experience in a multinational, multi-currency organization operating in a number of countries subject to different regulatory bodies • Experience in preparation of financial statements under US GAAP, including consolidation of subsidiaries reported in multi currencies; up to date experience with US GAAP • Strong technology skills including sound working knowledge of reporting and data management software, advanced Excel skills and knowledge of Oracle (CFP) Experience managing people in a multi-national and cultural team environment Experienced communication skills with senior stakeholders Proven ability to manage and prioritize a diverse and varied workload, work on ad-hoc projects as they arise; meet tight deadlines; attention to detail; strong organisational, analytical and interpretative skills and a hands on mentality
