Joining our Tax Group means you'll work closely with both local and offshore businesses to shape their U.S., Bermuda, and international tax strategies. You'll guide them through planning and compliance, while also offering a broad spectrum of business advisory services. Together, we'll navigate the complexities and unlock new opportunities for growth. Key Duties and Responsibilities - The preparation and review of tax returns for insurance companies, investment funds and other tax filings (primarily U.S. tax focused). - Conducting or supervision of conducting of tax research and drafting tax technical research memoranda. - The preparation of presentation materials for the marketing of tax services. - Meeting with existing and potential clients to discuss tax issues. In addition to the above, Manager and Senior Manager level responsibilities and requirements include: - Managing client engagements, including staffing and economics. - Extensive knowledge of U.S. tax compliance and consulting needs of various investment funds and/or insurance companies including expertise in tax compliance software. Equivalent experience with non-U.S. tax matters will be considered. - Proven managerial capabilities and operational experience are essential.

Requirements

Minimum of 7 years work experience focusing on tax with an international accounting Firm, international law firm or similar work experience specialising in the tax issues of partnerships and/or corporations is essential; Must have either successfully completed the U.S. Certified Public Accounting designation, be admitted to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction, or hold an equivalent relevant US Tax certification (e.g., Enrolled Agent). Candidates who do not have the CPA or EA qualification but have the required relevant Tax experience (US tax experience preferred) will be considered; Specific expertise in asset management or insurance will be advantageous.
