As part of our Consulting team, you contribute to our purpose of making an impact that matters by creating enduring value for our clients, driving transformative solutions and deliverables across markets and industries, whilst helping them manage risk, and ensure compliance for the benefit of their business, society, and the global economy. As a Senior Consultant you are responsible for the day- to-day management of engagements which include client relationship and team management. You take ownership of the full engagement life cycle in consulting actuarial services including research, modelling and analysis. You drive the production of high-quality deliverables and review the work of junior team members as applicable. You are actively involved in engagements from end-to- end in your relevant service area. You may also have the opportunity to work across teams in Consulting. The standard requirements of this role include: Bachelor's degree; preferably in a related field, or equivalent qualification (i.e., ACCA). Qualified or near qualified as a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, Casualty Actuarial Society, Institute of Actuaries or equivalent. Minimum 2-3 years of progressive experience in actuarial services, preferably within consulting in a professional services firm or large-scale organization. Knowledge and experience with IFRS 17 and/or US GAAP LDTI implementation projects. Knowledge and experience with technical actuarial techniques in pricing and reserving. Knowledge and experience working as actuarial specialist on audit engagements is an asset. All candidates must have demonstrated skills in client service and project management relevant to the role. Candidates must have the ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
