Based in Bermuda, and reporting directly to the Group Chief Risk Officer, the successful candidate will play a leading role in the embedding of high-quality enterprise risk management, increasing stakeholder value and policyholder protection. Monument Re is a dynamic and growing reinsurer and prominent consolidator of life insurance portfolios.
Requirements
University degree in a mathematical subject; Professional qualification in investment or risk management e.g. CFA, FIA or equivalent; Minimum of 10 years' experience in long-term life insurance and reinsurance; Strong experience in enterprise risk management within insurance and reinsurance environments; Proven ability to think independently and to present challenge in a constructive, practical and solutions-oriented manner; Strong experience supporting enterprise-wide risk governance and strategic decision making; Extensive experience in maintaining strong relationships with regulators, auditors and key external stakeholders.
