This position is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of financial reporting for the Company’s ceded reinsurance programs using ILS and Alternative Capital vehicles, including providing analysis to the investors, AXA XL and AXA XL Alternative Capital management and to the relevant board of directors. The successful candidate will lead, manage and mentor a global team responsible for preparation of monthly/quarterly NAVs, management accounts, and financial statements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Business, or a related discipline; ARe or CPCU certification; Qualified accountant (CA, CPA, ACA or equivalent) with at least ten years experience in the Excess Property and Casualty insurance and reinsurance industry; Robust knowledge of IFRS accounting (IFRS 17 and IFRS 9); Experience with fund and alternative capital structures.
