Global Custody & Clearing Limited is seeking a Junior Network Administrator in our Bermuda office. General responsibilities include assisting as the primary point of contact for Level 1 technical issues in network Operations & Support across on-premise and cloud environments; supporting VPN & Remote Access (LAN, Wi-Fi, WAN, SSL-VPN); supporting Cloud & Hybrid networking with Microsoft Azure; monitoring network and security logs; and working within a regulated financial services environment to provide security & control awareness.
Requirements
An IT qualification, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands-on experience with 1-2 years experience in a service desk, infrastructure, or junior network role. A solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, routing and subnetting. Basic knowledge of LAN, WAN, VLANS, Wi-Fi concepts, VPN tech, and cloud networking (Microsoft Azure). Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and documentation.
