Based in Bermuda and reporting to the Portfolio Manager, this role combines two complementary areas of responsibility. The successful candidate will develop expertise in catastrophe bond analysis and underwriting, while also contributing to broader portfolio management and analytics across the firm's funds. The Investment Analyst will be expected to develop independent investment views while working collaboratively with colleagues across underwriting, research and portfolio management. This role offers an opportunity to develop expertise across the full investment life cycle, from security selection and underwriting through portfolio construction, risk management and investor communication, in one of the world's most specialized institutional asset classes.

Requirements

The preferred candidate will have: A Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or another relevant quantitative discipline. A postgraduate degree, CFA designation, actuarial qualification or other relevant professional qualification would be advantageous. 5+ years of experience working in fixed income, structured credit, capital markets and/or other analytically rigorous environments. Ability to extract, analyze and communicate insights from large and complex datasets. Experience building financial models and analytical tools to support investment decisions and portfolio management. Experience with SQL, Python, or other analytical programming tools. Experience with catastrophe modeling platforms such as Moody's (RMS) or Verisk (AIR) is ideal but not required. Excellent previous employer references.
