Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Assistant Financial Controller plays a key role in the day-to-day management of the Finance Department and its team members, overseeing financial reporting, accounting operations, treasury, budgeting, regulatory compliance and internal controls. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to contribute to a well-established public company while working in a collaborative and professional environment. Key responsibilities include overseeing the preparation of consolidated group and subsidiary financial statements, managing the annual external audit process, overseeing treasury functions, and supervising Finance team members.

Requirements

Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, ACA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent) required. Minimum five (5) years of progressive post-qualification accounting experience, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory or management role. Demonstrated experience preparing consolidated financial statements under IFRS; listed company reporting experience is highly desirable. Strong experience in financial reporting, external audit coordination, treasury management, budgeting, internal controls, regulatory compliance and accounting operations. Demonstrated experience with process automation and financial technology implementation. Advanced Microsoft Excel, ERP systems and financial analysis skills.
