Our programme is designed to empower bright, ambitious and talented people from different backgrounds with the relevant skills, training and experience needed to make an impact with a career in financial services. During the structured programme, you will get first-hand practical experience, build technical knowledge and gain a deeper understanding of key business areas with placements in banking, investments, trust, compliance and risk management. With the support of an assigned mentor and a personal development plan, you will have an opportunity to work on meaningful projects, engage with clients, attend industry conferences and begin an industry accredited qualification. The full-time programme, with a competitive salary and benefits, starts in September 2026 and is aimed at helping you to launch your career in financial services and grow into more senior roles at Butterfield.

Requirements

What we are looking for: bright, ambitious and talented individuals with an interest in financial services and a desire to learn; university graduates and strong candidates with work experience; effective communication, teamwork and organisational skills; at the time of application, you must have the right to work in Bermuda.
