On behalf of our client, Forvis Mazars Limited, we are seeking a talented Tax Associate Director to join their Bermuda practice. The successful candidate will lead multiple tax engagements at the same time and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, interactive results-based environment. The core responsibilities include: 1. Leading on business development activities for tax. 2. Acting as the main client relationship manager across your portfolio. 3. Working directly into Partners and managing a junior team. 4. Delivery on Audit of Tax. 5. Delivery on Bermuda CIT advisory and compliance. 6. Delivery on Pillar 2 advisory projects. 7. Delivery on common reporting standard and FATCA advisory. The successful candidate will ensure quality service and timely delivery of results for a diverse portfolio of clients across several industries including captive insurance, (re) insurance, hedge funds, and international business. Experience and requirements: • An internationally recognized tax qualification (such as ATT, CTA). A minimum of 7 years' tax experience advising global insurance groups. Minimum two years' experience working on Bermuda CIT engagements. The role will involve working closely with the UK and the US, a detailed working knowledge of insurance taxation in one or both territories would be beneficial A detailed understanding of Pillar 2 GloBE and the specific implications for Insurance businesses. Experience in advising on the common reporting standard and conducting third party reviews. A self-motivated individual with exceptional written and oral communication skills and a collaborative approach to management. Proven ability to lead teams and mentor other tax and audit staff on multiple client engagements simultaneously, working effectively to meet established internal and external deadlines. Highly competent in developing and sustaining profitable client relationships. Ability to work extra hours as needed to meet deadlines and deliver under pressure while managing multiple engagements and competing priorities. Strong analytical, verbal and report writing skills and excellent computer-literacy skills, particularly with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
