BermudAir is seeking an experienced, proactive Head of Safety & Emergency Response Planning (ERP) to lead our Safety Department and champion safety across the airline. This senior leadership role is responsible for developing and maintaining an effective Safety Management System (SMS), overseeing investigations and safety data analysis, managing ERP and drills, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include developing airline SMS policies, chairing the Safety Review Board, leading incident investigations, managing flight data monitoring reviews, and mentoring the Safety Department.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in aviation, engineering, business or related field; Minimum 10 years in aviation safety, including at least 5 years in senior safety leadership; Advanced certifications in SMS, ERP, incident investigation or aviation safety (ICAO/IATA preferred); Strong experience in auditing, policy/procedure development, investigations, and project management.
