The Tourism Standards & Training Specialist supports the Bermuda Tourism Authority's efforts to strengthen Bermuda's tourism industry through workforce development, training initiatives, and industry standards. Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, this role partners with tourism stakeholders, educational institutions, employers, and government agencies to promote tourism careers, and support service excellence across the industry. Key responsibilities include identifying workforce needs, coordinating talent development programs, supporting internships, and building partnerships.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Workforce Development, Hospitality & Tourism Management, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field. Minimum five (5) years' relevant experience in workforce development, learning and development, tourism, hospitality, human resources, or a related area. Experience designing and implementing training, workforce, or industry engagement initiatives. Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, communication, and reporting skills.
