Bermuda Motors Limited requires an experienced A1 Technician for our Service Department to work on the distribution brands we sell namely: KIA, FORD, TOYOTA, BMW & MINI. Job Responsibilities: • Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately • Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade • Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity • Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues • Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job • Advise customers on work performed, general vehicle condition and future repair • Keep logs on work and issues • Maintain equipment and tools in good condition • Training apprentices as required

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience: • It is preferred that the candidate have at least 4 years’ experience and hold at least 6 ASE Certificates, City and Guilds (part three) Certificate or equivalent • Detailed knowledge of fuel injection vehicles, EV and high voltage systems would be preferred • Electrical diagnostic troubleshooting experience • Proven experience as an auto mechanic • Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment • Experience using computer diagnostic equipment is essential with experience with one of our brands an asset • Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc. • In addition, the candidate must be willing to attend at least 10 days a year of company provided training
