Film Application Technician Ziebart is an international leader in automotive appearance and protection services. The company provides professional automotive detailing, rust & paint protection treatment, window tinting, ceramic coating, and headlight restoration services. We invite qualified candidates who are energetic and highly motivated to apply for our Film Application Technician openings. Responsibilities & Duties: • Apply thermoplastic polyurethane film to vehicles in an efficient and safe manner • Apply ceramic paint coating to vehicles in an efficient and safe manner • Evaluate film and vehicle paint conditions and make minor repairs prior to film installation and ceramic paint coating application • Apply paint correction services to vehicle exterior surfaces using commercial orbital polishers and specialty equipment • Perform film stripping duties as necessary • Maintain quality product and service standards as defined by the company • Maintain equipment and assigned shop area in a clean and orderly manner • Perform other tasks as assigned by Management, including but not limited to greeting customers, inspecting vehicles and explaining services provided by Ziebart

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED equivalent; diploma holder from secondary institution is desirable • 4+ years’ experience installing window tint, paint protection film (PPF) and ceramic paint coating to all vehicle types • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics for film application using computerized programs, printing plotters as well as experience with free-hand installation • Experience utilizing paint correction and polishing techniques for chemical polymer solutions • Experience operating specialty commercial equipment pertaining to film installation, ceramic paint coating and paint correction services • Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends when required • The position is an active role that requires good health and physical fitness.
