Carpenter(s): Successful applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in all aspects of the carpentry industry. Must be able to work in workshop and produce high quality custom work and finishes to work. Must be capable of interpreting drawings to fabricate sash windows, French doors, base boards, crown moldings, staircases, arched door frames, curved handrails, cabinets etc. Pitch roof, formwork, fur out ceilings and install all millwork. Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high standard of work at all times. Marble and Tile Specialist(s): Candidates must have at least 5 years proven work experience in installing all aspects of marble and tile, including but not limited to: ceramic, porcelain, natural stone with proven ability to work on multiple projects within residential and commercial construction and remodelling projects. Must be able to assess the area and prepare the surface accordingly. This involves cleaning, leveling, and smoothing the surface and removing existing materials so that the area is clear of obstructions. Taking accurate measurements, determining the layout, marking guidelines and creating reference points. Be able to use specialized tools, equipment and techniques to ensure a high-quality finish. The position does require precision and attention to detail, skilled at grouting so that a smooth and even surface is achieved as to not detract from the overall appearance of the installation. Candidates should be physically fit as considerable lifting of heavy materials with much bending is required.
