The successful applicant must have the following qualifications: A minimum of ten (10) years' experience in diagnosing and repairing automotive electrical and electronic problems; having performed these services continuously for the last five (5) years. Trained to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electrical problems on vehicles including boats and heavy equipment. Able to modify and/or rebuild alternators and starters and/or modify the components. Proficient in reading schematics. Be familiar with diagnostic tools. Be able to make minor repairs or bypasses for small electronic components. Trained to service and repair automotive air condition. A certificate or diploma from a recognized automotive institution. Able to work on their own initiative. Able to work overtime when necessary and Saturday mornings.
