The Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences (BIOS), a premier marine research and education institute and a unit of Arizona State University (ASU), is seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will report to the Facilities Manager. Duties include maintaining all buildings (labs, offices, common areas, housing, etc.) with regards to general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, masonry, and painting.

Requirements

Must be proficient across multiple disciplines to include plumbing, electrical, carpentry, minor masonry and painting. Minimum 5 years' professional experience in building and maintenance practices. Current clean light and intermediate truck driving license required. Basic computer skills required. Ability to work in emergencies at short notice and at unsocial hours.
