The Bermuda Housing Corporation has an opportunity for Social Worker. The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Social Worker. Primary responsibilities include: Working with at risk residents in BHC owned, leased, PSRP and transitional housing locations; Identifying the needs of the tenant for social and behavioural challenges; Helping to resolve conflicts between clients; Facilitating life skills; Working with government and private agencies; Liaising with the Senior Leasing Agent; Consulting and problem solving with other Social Workers; Creating programs or workshops; Updating resident notes in MRI and Plan Street; Producing written plans and reports; Providing monthly written reports and statistics; Meeting clients in different locations.

Requirements

Master's degree or equivalent in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology and or Sociology; Minimum of five years' relevant post graduate experience; Proficiency in word processing, and spreadsheet applications; Ability to communicate effectively through written, oral, and electronic methods; Ability to work with a variety of clients and work with minimum supervision; Ability to work professionally and effectively as a team member maintaining confidentiality.
