Bermuda Air Conditioning Ltd. is seeking to employ an individual with previous experience as Mechanical Superintendent. This individual will be responsible for planning, directing, and co-ordinating the work activities of a staff of foremen and journeymen of several different trades. The successful individual must be skilled in the layout and implementation of varied and complex piping systems, as they apply to H.V.A.C., plumbing, fire protection, and energy management systems. The individual will also be responsible for reviewing and suggesting changes to preliminary building mechanical plans for the design of the mechanical distribution systems; and working with consulting engineers on preparing distribution systems. A clear knowledge of International and Local Building codes is a must.

Requirements

High school education certificate, vocational school, with mechanical courses from technical school. College or university preferred. Completed a recognized apprenticeship programme. Considerable experience in the heating and plumbing mechanical trades including supervisory experience; or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Thorough knowledge of the methods, techniques, equipment, tools, and material used in the mechanical trades.
