Our client, Arch Investment Management Ltd. (AIML), based in Bermuda, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Arch Capital Group Ltd., a leading insurance and reinsurance company. Arch Capital has more than $26bn of capital and investable assets of more than $46bn. Arch Investment Management Ltd. is responsible for managing the portfolios of Arch Capital and its subsidiaries. Arch is looking to employ a VP, Credit Analyst to collaborate with and support the Investment Grade team in managing approximately $11 billion in corporate bonds across multiple portfolios. Job Responsibilities: Build, maintain, and enhance credit models for assigned coverage universe. Generate write-ups and recommendations on specific credits, sectors and situations. Facilitate cross sector discussions with the portfolio management team. Deliver relative value trade ideas across industries, sectors and capital structures to the portfolio management team. Assist the Alternatives team with in-depth credit analysis on Private Credit and Equity. Engage with covered issuers on credit fundamentals.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative subject (i.e., finance, economics, etc.). Post Graduate degree in related field or CFA designation. Minimum 7 years of experience in a quantitative investment function. Good knowledge of credit instruments and structured products. Strong familiarity with the Alternatives market (Private Equity and Debt, Real Estate). Deep knowledge of BlackRock Aladdin platform and Clearwater Analytics. Strong communications skills both written and verbal Demonstrates a high level of reliability, self-motivated and approaches work with professionalism and attention to detail.
