Towers Watson (Bermuda) Limited (known as Willis Towers Watson) is a leading global advisory, broking and solutions company. The Company invites applications for the position of Actuarial Director within the Property / Casualty practice of ICT with knowledge and experience of insurance and reinsurance including loss reserving and risk management. The successful applicant will be developing and delivering reserve studies, capital management and pricing analyses for our (re)insurance company and ILS fund clients. You will play a key role in our marketing efforts and the growth of this practice area through client interaction, thought leadership, and quality work execution. As a project manager, you will bring order and process to the client teams with whom you work, and you will serve as a resource to analysts as you help them build their technical and client-facing expertise. You will be expected to meet billable hours and sales goals as described by your manager.

Requirements

Undergraduate degree
Fellow or Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society, Fellow of Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, or equivalent professional qualification required
A minimum of seven years' relevant actuarial experience
Knowledge and experience with insurance and reinsurance including loss reserving and risk management
Strong analytical skills including ability to draw conclusions and identify trends from data
Proven experience successfully managing multiple projects
Technically proficient in MS Excel and working knowledge of MS PowerPoint and MS Word
Experience with reserving and financial modelling software (for example ResQ and Igloo)
