Based in Bermuda and reporting to the SVP, Head of Property Reinsurance, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the continued growth of Hamilton Re's reinsurance portfolio, including business development, underwriting, pricing and profitability monitoring. Hamilton Re is our Bermuda insurer underwriting property, casualty and specialty insurance and reinsurance on a global basis.

Requirements

At least 10 years' experience in reinsurance underwriting in progressively senior roles. Extensive global broker network and proven track record in establishing and maintaining strong broker relationships. Certificate in insurance (or equivalent). Ability to work closely with brokers to negotiate terms and conditions for renewal and new business. Demonstrable knowledge of the international catastrophe market. London reinsurance market experience preferred. Ability to travel frequently and independently to global marketing trips. Technical expertise & capabilities within your field. Ability to productively leverage data and technology.
