Based in Bermuda, and reporting to the Group Chief Underwriting Officer you will support the successful placement of all outwards covers for Hamilton Re and supporting placements across the Group. Hamilton Re is our Bermuda insurer underwriting property, casualty and specialty insurance and reinsurance on a global basis. Responsibilities include supporting the business planning process, relationship management with brokers and reinsurers, preparing renewal submissions, managing the performance framework, and monitoring security reports.

Requirements

Previous experience in the successful placement of outwards covers within a specialty insurer/reinsurer; Associate in Reinsurance/Insurance and/or Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter; Demonstrable experience with reinsurance applications (e.g., SUN, Oracle, Power Business Intelligence); Professional Accounting Designation; Experience with U.S. GAAP; Strong experience managing relationships with brokers, reinsurers and internal stakeholders.
