The Platinum Group Ltd. is seeking an Associate to provide support to their clients' broker teams with: review of applications, requesting additional information, developing submissions, negotiating terms and conditions; managing all aspects of the accounts while ensuring the highest quality of relationships and service while maintaining the integrity and compliance of the professional standards of the business. This position requires basic knowledge and understanding of concepts, best practices and procedures. Working closely with internal team members, production sources and underwriters. Position requirements: • Assist the broking team with day-to-day placement and responsibilities; • Enter renewals, new business, quotes, binder and policy information, generate invoices, upload documents and maintain all account records using the company's systems and platform; • Prepare submissions for review and release to market; • Support the Broker(s) in the ongoing servicing of accounts, support team colleagues and other staff, as needed, on projects of revenue priority including providing general clerical support to the team if, and when, needed; • Proven ability to problem- solve, manage conflict; • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal; • Strong computer skills to independently navigate systems and platforms; • Degree educated with at least 1 - 3 years' work experience in insurance/or reinsurance/or finance showing that you have successfully supported team operations and projects.
