Account Manager

Account Manager role encompasses a diverse range of financial, compliance, client service, and leadership responsibilities, all contributing to the successful operation and growth of the company. Financial Operations: Review and process daily trading activity, covering equities, fixed income, futures, options, and forwards, and input data into the fund accounting system. Perform reconciliations of the fund's investment portfolio holdings and review pricing within valuation policy including derivatives and fixed income. Calculate management and performance fees payable by the fund to the investment manager including side pocket and liquidating classes. Accurately calculate and record all fees payable, along with accruing income and expense items. Allocate income and expenses appropriately and calculate the net asset value for each class and series of shares on each valuation date. Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP / IFRS, including the creation of supporting audit schedules. Facilitate the audit process to ensure timely completion. Ensure timely resolution of client needs and proactively initiate corrective actions when service levels fall short of the standard. Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships and open communication with other department heads. Assist the Head of Operation and senior management in policy development and the implementation of SOC I internal controls. Applicant must possess: Minimum (10) years of experience working in fund administration, specifically with exposure to financial markets/institutions, debt funds, hedge funds or private equity vehicles. Strong knowledge of investment accounting and technical knowledge of alternative investments, fund accounting and the preparation of financial statements Detailed knowledge and understanding of Bermuda and Cayman regulatory matters including Anti-Money Laundering/Anti-Terrorist Financing and other regulatory reporting. Strong computer skills and strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to manage and maintain a fast-paced office with continually changing demands. The willingness to work overtime and public holidays when required.
