This means we provide financial protection for corporations and other insurance companies against natural catastrophes, political and credit risks, terrorism, aerospace failures, marine accidents and other large or unusual events. The Bermuda presence covers property, bespoke and specialty insurance and reinsurance products. THE ROLE We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as interns. As an intern, you will work alongside our experienced professionals to gain insight into the inner workings of the insurance and reinsurance industry. You will have the opportunity to contribute to important projects and initiatives and your work will have a real impact on our business. Main Responsibilities: These depend on the team you are placed with and could include: • Assisting with day-to-day operations of the insurance and reinsurance departments. • Conducting research on industry trends and best practices. • Analysing data and prepare reports for senior management. • Participating in team meetings and contribute to discussions. • Collaborating with other interns and professionals across the company on special projects. Requirements: • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in business, finance, economics, or a related field. Preference will be given to Bermuda College students or Littles of Big Brothers Big Sisters. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
