The English Market (TEM Limited) requires the services of a Butcher. Responsibilities include food production, handling pre-cut and packaged seafood and meats, managing specific cuts of selected meats, and utilizing culinary knowledge. The role involves using IT scales, ordering, pricing, and maintaining quality control and costs. The position requires attention to detail, excellent customer service, and a solid work ethic. Staff must be willing to work flexible hours and are on-call for early mornings, nights, weekends, and public holidays. TEM Ltd is a drug-free company.

Requirements

Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Butcher function and food production. Must have strong communication and customer service skills. Knowledgeable in pre-cut and packaged seafood and meats, specific cuts of selected meats and strong culinary knowledge. Knowledge of IT scale, ordering and pricing, quality control skills and costs. Must be an exceptional timekeeper and willing to work flexible hours (early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays). Clean police record required.
