The successful applicant will have had extensive experience in the hospitality renovation and construction industry as a general contractor. The primary responsibilities will be the supervising of Senior Project Managers and Superintendents at a hospitality construction renovation project including the organization, planning, and scheduling and administration required to complete the work on time, within budget, and to the quality specified. This position will also function as a mentor and instructor to several hospitality construction management, superintendent and field layout apprentices. Extended work hours are normal.

Requirements

Extensive experience in hospitality renovation and construction as a general contractor. Thorough knowledge of general contracts, subcontracts, construction documents, specifications, means and methods, and quality control. Understanding of estimates, trade allocations, health and safety, industry tools/equipment, project schedules, and labour force control. Knowledge of construction costs, survey, engineering principles, and accounting procedures is a benefit.
