The successful candidate will teach Spanish and French at the Middle and Senior School levels, and as required at the Primary School level. The ability to teach Advanced Placement French and Spanish Language and Culture or equivalent is preferred. The role focuses on developing students' communicative competence, intercultural understanding, and language proficiency within competency-based curriculum frameworks, including the BC Curriculum for designated courses.
Requirements
A recognised graduate qualification and a minimum of three years' classroom teaching experience; Licensure with, or eligibility for licensure by, the Bermuda Educators Council; Proven success delivering Modern Foreign Languages in a differentiated Secondary classroom; Strong understanding of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) or ACTFL standards; Familiarity with international language proficiency exams and certifications such as DELF, DALF, DELE, and TCF (asset); A clean criminal record.
