The successful candidate will teach Spanish and French at the Middle and Senior School levels, and as required at the Primary School level. Experience teaching iGCSE French and Spanish or equivalent is required, and the ability to teach Advanced Placement French and Spanish Language and Culture or equivalent is preferred. Requirements
A recognized graduate qualification and a minimum of three years' classroom teaching experience Experience teaching iGCSE French and Spanish or equivalent Ability to teach Advanced Placement French and Spanish Language and Culture or equivalent Licensure with, or eligibility for licensure by, the Bermuda Educators Council Proven success delivering Modern Foreign Languages in a differentiated Secondary classroom Strong understanding of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) or ACTFL standards Familiarity with international language proficiency exams and certifications such as DELF, DALF, DELE, and TCF (asset) Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English with students, parents, colleagues, and the wider school community A positive presence within a collaborative school culture Commitment to academic excellence and positive, professional relationships with students, parents, and colleagues A collaborative mindset and willingness to support the ongoing development of the department An action-researcher mindset and commitment to reflective professional practice Ability to thrive in a busy, dynamic school environment Commitment to student safeguarding, wellbeing, and child protection best practices Relevant student safety certifications (e.g., SCARS, First Aid/CPR/ AED) are required or must be obtained A clean criminal recordSalary
