The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality Primary instruction aligned with competency-based curriculum frameworks, including the BC Curriculum, and responding to the diverse learning needs of students. The role includes assessment, reporting, and active partnership with families in support of student learning and wellbeing. Responsibilities include planning, preparing, and delivering engaging Primary learning experiences, supporting BC Core Competencies, and teaching students according to their educational needs.
Requirements
A recognized graduate qualification at the university level; a minimum of three years' teaching experience; eligible to obtain licensure with the Bermuda Educators Council and the British Columbia Teacher Certification; proven ability to differentiate and personalize learning; clean criminal record; commitment to student safeguarding; relevant student safety certifications (e.g., SCARS, First Aid/CPR/AED).
