The successful candidate will teach Spanish and French at the Middle and Senior School levels, and as required at the Primary School level. The role focuses on developing students' communicative competence, intercultural understanding, and language proficiency within competency-based curriculum frameworks, including the BC Curriculum for designated courses. Responsibilities include designing learning experiences aligned with inquiry-based learning, using various assessment approaches, integrating information technology, and participating in extracurricular activities.
Requirements
A recognised graduate qualification and a minimum of three years' classroom teaching experience; Licensure with, or eligibility for licensure by, the Bermuda Educators Council; Proven success delivering Modern Foreign Languages in a differentiated Secondary classroom; Strong understanding of CEFR or ACTFL standards; Ability to thrive in a busy, dynamic school environment; A clean criminal record.
