The successful candidates for these positions will join the Primary Department's substitute teaching list (K-Grade 5) or the Secondary Department's substitute teaching list (Grades 6-12). Responsibilities include covering teacher absences and teaching classes at the respective levels. Saltus offers a dynamic and inclusive learning environment, following the BC Curriculum complemented by Advanced Placement (AP) courses.
Requirements
Must be a qualified graduate; Must be licensed by the Bermuda Educators Council; Must be able to demonstrate a variety of teaching and learning pedagogies; Must possess a valid SCARS Certification and First Aid Certification; Demonstrated ability and experience using technologies to enhance learning; Must be able to use an online grading system; Demonstrated ability and experience using various assessment methodologies; Knowledge of project-based, problem-based, or inquiry-based learning preferred; Clean criminal record.
