Ready to lead and inspire the next generation? Saltus has the following opportunity commencing in August 2026. Since 1888, Saltus Grammar School has been shaping the future of education in Bermuda. Today, we offer a dynamic and inclusive learning environment for students ages 4–18, guided by our triple accreditation with CAIS, NEASC, and the British Columbia Offshore School program. Kindergarten through Grade 10 we deliver the BC Curriculum, with Grade 11 launching in September 2026, complemented by Advanced Placement (AP) courses in the senior years, ensuring rigorous preparation for post-secondary success. Part-Time After School Program Leader: The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate after school learning and recreation/enrichment activities such as organized sports, games, physical activities, dance, arts and crafts, and, when necessary, homework. On-Call Part-Time After School Program Leader: The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing similar activities as above, on an on-call basis.

Requirements

Candidates for the above position:

Minimum of one-year experience working with children preferred
Must be able to work 2:45 pm – 5:30 pm during the school term
Willing to work camps during school breaks
An Associate’s degree or Certificate in Child Care would be an asset
A valid SCARS certification would be preferred
A valid First Aid/CPR/AED certification would be preferred
Must be a reliable, enthusiastic team player with good communication and organizational skills
Must be creative, energetic and patient
Caring nature and enjoys interacting with children of different ages
Attendance and good time-keeping are essential
Clean criminal record Additional hours may be available.
