The Finance Manager is responsible for leading the financial management, reporting, and control environment of the School. This role supports the Principal of School and Board in ensuring financial sustainability, transparency, and strong governance in line with the School's strategic objectives. The Finance Manager oversees budgeting, financial reporting, tuition revenue management, and specific responsibilities including preparation of monthly management accounts, leading year-end financial statement preparation, maintaining internal controls, overseeing procurement, coordinating insurance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing the payroll function.

Requirements

Professional accounting designation (CPA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent); 5-10+ years of relevant finance experience, with at least 3 years in a management role preferred; Experience in education, not-for-profit, or service-based organizations preferred; Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls; Experience working with Boards or governance bodies is an asset; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders; High level of integrity and attention to detail; Collaborative and proactive approach; Ability to operate in a small, dynamic team environment.
