Pillar Capital Management Limited ("Pillar") is a Bermuda-based reinsurance and investment manager. The VP Tax & Compliance ("VP – T&C") will lead Pillar’s tax program and reporting, play a key role in regulatory compliance operations, and administer and develop Pillar’s CRM platform. Approximately 50% of the role focuses on global tax and regulatory filings, with the balance covering compliance, CRM administration, training, and other Management-directed projects.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years' relevant financial services experience with exposure to (re)insurance and fund sectors. Professional accounting designation required (e.g., CA-CPA, U.S. CPA, CA(SA), ACA). Compliance certification (e.g., ICA, CAMS) is an advantage. Strong knowledge of U.S. requirements for ERA, Bermuda regulation (Insurance Act 1978, Investment Funds Act 2006, Economic Substance Act), and Corporate Income Tax Act 2023. Experience with FATCA, CRS, and U.S. tax filings. Advanced Excel skills and CRM administration (preferably Dynamo) experience. Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and public holidays.
