We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Risk professional. This role will be critical in elevating the organisation's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) capabilities and will be expected to bring fresh perspectives, thought leadership, and innovative approaches to strengthen risk culture, oversight, and strategic decision-making. Reporting to the Risk & Compliance Officer (Bermuda-based) this key role will influence cross-functional stakeholders, challenge existing processes, and contribute to the evolution of risk practices that support the forward-looking needs of the organisation. The preferred candidate will have: A Bachelor's degree in risk management, business, finance, re/insurance, or a related subject/field of study. Progressive risk management work experience gained from the re/insurance industry. Proven experience positively influencing senior stakeholders and driving cross-functional initiatives. A background in enhancing risk frameworks, reporting, or analytics. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and introduce new ideas, methods, and perspectives. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify and communicate complex concepts. A proactive and independent approach with the ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities. High impact communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills. Strong understanding of the Bermuda or Solvency II insurance regulatory environment is an advantage. Advanced designations (e.g., FRM, CRM, CPA, CFA, CERA) would be advantageous. This is an opportunity to take a strategic role in shaping the evolution of the organisation's risk management capabilities.
