Multiple positions available within the Risk Advisory team, including Experienced Associate, Senior Associate, Manager, and Senior Manager. Roles involve delivering essential services to top insurance and reinsurance firms, conducting risk assessments, documenting financial processes, and testing controls. Requirements vary by role, but generally include relevant experience in audit or risk assurance, knowledge of insurance and regulatory compliance, and relevant professional qualifications. Senior roles may require experience with SOX engagements, PCAOB, and commercial insurance industries.

Requirements

Requirements for the available roles are: Experienced Associate • Bachelor's degree in a related subject from an accredited university; • Proof of progress made towards CPA/CA/ACA/ACCA/CIA/CISA; • Minimum of 12 months of relevant audit experience gained working in a Big 4 or consulting environment; • Experience in internal, IT or external audit required, SOX experience preferred; • Working knowledge of insurance, enterprise risk management and regulatory compliance. Senior Associate: • Internationally recognised professional qualification such as CPA/CA/ACA/ACCA/CIA/CISA; • Minimum of 2 years of relevant audit experience gained working in a Big 4 or consulting environment; • Experience in internal, IT or external audit required; SOX experience preferred; • Working knowledge of insurance, enterprise risk management and regulatory compliance. Manager: • Minimum of 6 years of relevant audit experience working in a Big 4 or consulting environment; • Internationally recognised professional qualification such as CPA/CA/ACA/ACCA/CIA/CISA. Candidates with other professional or academic qualifications and relevant professional experience will also be considered; • Experience in internal, IT or external audit with SOX engagements and proficient knowledge of insurance, enterprise risk management, PCAOB and regulatory compliance; • Proven experience with all aspects of SOX, including narratives, flowcharts, risk-control matrix testing, evaluation of deficiencies and remediation testing; • Both internal and external audit experience would be advantageous. Senior Manager: • Internationally recognised professional qualification such as CPA/CA/ACA/ACCA/CIA/CISA; • Minimum of 8 years relevant Risk Assurance experience in a Big 4 firm with strong working knowledge of insurance, internal audit, risk assurance internal controls frameworks, readiness and assurance, regulatory reporting (Solvency II knowledge an asset) and Enterprise wide Risk Management Framework Governance, design and implementation; • Experience in internal, IT or external audit with SOX engagements and proficient knowledge of insurance, enterprise risk management, PCAOB and regulatory compliance; • Knowledge and experience of working with the Commercial Insurance industry required with wider FS experience an asset; • Financial reporting implementation experience and consulting experience would also be an asset.
