We are seeking a highly skilled Risk and Capital Actuary to further strengthen the link between strategy and risk and capital management across the organization. This role will be pivotal in ensuring support for the business through robust risk and capital management using advanced modeling and quantitative frameworks. The successful candidate will support the Chief Risk Officer (Bermuda-based) in overseeing the internal economic capital model, enhance the stress and scenario testing framework, and design and report on measurable risk appetite metrics aligned with regulatory and strategic objectives. The preferred candidate will have: • Fellow or Associate level qualifications from an internationally recognized actuarial body (e.g., IFOA, SOA, CAS). • A strong background in capital modeling, risk management, and quantitative analysis gained from working in the re/insurance industry or consultancy. • Proven experience with the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) or Solvency II regimes. • Prior experience working in a major consulting firm or similar environment, with exposure to risk and capital advisory projects. • Advanced proficiency in actuarial modeling tools and statistical software. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • The ability to positively influence stakeholders and present complex concepts clearly. • The ability to translate quantitative and qualitative analyses into clear messages and informed responses to Executive Management and Board. This is an opportunity to play a strategic role in shaping the organization's risk and capital framework, working closely with senior leadership in a dynamic environment.
